A lil party

Our friends, Irv & Christina, invited us to bowl for Aubrie's 3rd Birthday! It was SO fun!  I cant believe how much fun the kids had just bowling one game!!

Easter 2011

This year Orthodox Easter was the same year.  It only happens about once every 4 years.  So, Angelos and I went to litergry at 11:45pm Saturday night and Tyler had a sleep over at Grandma & Papa's.  Then in the morning, when Tyler got home, the Easter bunny had been at our house!

He had fun opening/playing with the new stuff!

One of the things he got was a BATMAN Kite! He was sooo excited and waited paitently all day until we could go out and fly it.  After about 10 minutes, stuck in a tree it was! GRRRR

Easter Egg Hunt

We went to the Easter Bunny breakfast and Egg hunt on Saturday, it was BUUURRR cold but still fun!

Happy Birthday GAVIN

Tyler had his first birthday party that was a friend from school!  IT was at the Jump Zone and he had TONS of fun with all his school friends.

PLAY ball!

On April 11, it was opening day at the Kane County Cougars! With gorgeous weather and un-used tickets from my boss, Tyler and I treated Grandma and Papa to a fun night at the ball park.  Tyler had never been to a game before and had tons of fun, included a traditional hot dog with Papa!  It was a super fun time and Tyler learned all about baseball...and is no obsessed with it.  (he conned Papa/Grandma into taking him to Wal-Mart the next day for a new ball, bat and glove) 

He didn't even really need the ball, since he got a FOUL ball at the game!! How cool!

WEEKEND!!

This weekend Tyler and I spent some time together!  On Friday,we met our friends Ashlyn and Ella (with their parents) at Colonial for ice cream.  They have a COW right in the lobby that the kids LOVE!  Tyler just had to "ride" on him!

 I had a birthday coupon thing to panera too! So, Tyler and I had dinner there one night last week.  Tyler (and I) absolutely LOVE the mac n cheese there. If you have never had it, YOU MUST try it. It is the best I have ever had!  (I don't really let myself eat more than a bite bc I can only imagine the fat in it!)

He is SUCH a good eater! We even got compliments on his eating habits recently! He never misses to clear a plate- especially at dinner!  Love date nights with my lil guy!

Vacation - sort of.........

This weekend we headed down to the Grand Bear Resort in Ottawa, IL.  Holy farm-ville.  yikes.  Anyway, the resort was cute. You can check it out HERE.  They had an indoor amusement park with Rides and Games.  Angelos and Tyler had sooo much fun "racing" motorcycles.  Tyler even knows how to sit on it.

 They had a merry-go-round which is ALWAYS a hit for Tyler.

 THE COOLEST THING EVER, was the baby bear cub.  Each day they have a time where they haev 2 baby bear cubs to hold and get your picture taken with. Tyler thought this was super cool.  This bear is "cole" and he was 8 weeks.  At birth, he was the size of a pound of butter and by 3 years old, he will be 500 LBS!  WOW!  He was so soft and cuddly. I so expected his fur to be sort of rough, but it wasn't at all!
