Swedish Days!

Geneva's Midsommer Festival, Swedish Days, is one of my most favorite. I love each town and their fests but this is a fav of mine. Thursday, the cloudiest day, ever, we went down and met Angela and her girls, Ashlyn & Ella. Tyler really likes to play with them and we had tons of fun!

Here is Tyler and Ella on the "race car" ride. Tyler picks the black car every time!

Then they went down the fun slide.....Angela too! Tyler talked about this for like 2 days after. Its just a slide...lol

While the weather wasnt super, it was super fun to walk around.

Saturday we went back with Angelos and did more rides, shopped, etc. Then went back for the stroller and Tyler chilled and ANgelos and I walked around more.

Sunday we went to the parade.....its the hugest suburban parade ever. Its about 2 1/2 hours long and has TONS of people in it...including the creepy shriners who take up about 1/3 of the time. lol We really had a blast!

We finished yesterday afternoon with a jump in the pool with our buddies Michael & Megan!

What a nice weekend!

Prairie Fest

We went to Prairie Fest in Oswego this weekend too. Tyler always gets to pick ONE ride.... This time he picked the MotorCycles! :)

Father's/Pool Day!

It was so nice on Father's Day, so we got to the pool right when they opened and it wasn't busy at all!! Tyler has decided that he LOVES the water wings this year and is all over "Swimming" in the deep end and going under water.

hEY bATTER bATTER!

Monday, Tyler and Michael started T-ball! It was not a huge failure but it wasn't a huge success either. First - epic fail by mommy - I forgot his mitt...oops. Then he was mad at me. So I said I would go get it..... (not really) and then he thought I left and he was SO upset! I felt really bad...so I participated in the base running & ball catching practice. :)
