Angelos and I recently nicknamed Tyler, "Ralphy" I am not sure why, but when he is sleeping he snores SO loud and its so funny! Now, he thinks if he wakes up at night, he needs to come "cuddle" with us. And then he completely takes over our bed. I finally got out of my bed and went in his the other night! LOL

TEMPER TEMPER

The other night BEFORE Michael's party - I am not so sure how I got so out of order - Tyler saw the truck to give Michael and FLIPPED out. He wanted it. He was SO upset and mad. (BTW hes got his BUZZ costume on too)

Red Oak Nature Center

I used to go to Red Oak Nature Center when I was little and now I can take Tyler here. The actual building itself is quite a bit nicer than it was when I was little but the whole experience is the same and there is still the bike trails/river, etc on the campus.

They have tons of animals now. Here are some turtles

DATE NIGHT

Angelos and I had a date night the weekend BEFORE valentines day and we went to the Motorcycle and Auto show! So fun... Angelos thinks he needs this helmet.... I don't agree...just sayin

Valentine Date Night

Angelos had to work on Valentine's Day so Tyler and I had a 'date night' and went to PetLand to see the puppies! We have so much fun watching all the animals. There are so many to look at, bunnies, ferrets (YUCK), hamsters, birds, cats, lizzards, fish, on my!

SPRING tease, MELT, sump pump

Well, this week we had a definate tease of spring. Days where it was almost 60 degrees. Snow melting everywhere, LOTS of sun and my sump pump working over time to keep all this water away from my house and my basement. Hence the gorgeous weather comes the spring colds. ACCCCHHHOOO! Tyler started it, I got it, now Angelos has it. At least I can air the house out by opening the windows. sigh

HAppppy Bday BESTIE!

Since HS, Shannon's mom, Trudy, has always included me in Shannon's birthday dinner. Each year, she out does the previous and amazes me more with her generosity. This year, I went w/o Angelos and had several dates while I was there. Derek, Shannon's cousin, was nice enough to be my date until Lari, Shan's other friend, came also without a date. It was such a fun night and fabulous dinner. We went to Mastro's in Chicago. IT WAS YUMMY! We had a small private dining room upstairs. The place was huge with super fun music and gorgeous atmosphere. It is definately on the Chi trendy list right now and Julius Pepper's was there too. (Um, he plays football, I think for the bears.) I had NO idea who/what/where he was but the guys assured me he was there.

choo choo...what?

Tyler and I took the LONNNNNNNNNNNNG drive out to see Nicole and Ryan after the snow storm, I don't remember what day this was but there was still snow... lol

We decided to go to lunch at this choo choo place where the train delivered the food. It was super cute and very yummy! Thanks for having us over to play and going to eat with us!

Oh - if you ever go here, make sure you have ca$h, because they don't take debit cards...oops. BUT they DO take personal checks! lol

more SNOW

Superbowl Sunday we woke up to about 3 more inches of snow. CRAZZZZY. Poor Angelos was soooo annoyed and didn't want to clear anymore snow. But, we all donned our snow gear and headed out side. We had a blast in the snow for a while. I really like snow. I heard a commercial once that references a fresh snow fall as a fresh start. All fresh, clean and new. I think it is soooo pretty and so fun to do stuff in. Once it starts to melt, YUCK x100.

Holy SNOW Batman!!

The "Blizzard of 2011" hit the Chicago 'Burbs and city on February 1, 2011. There are several names for this third worst blizzard in Chicago history. Snowtorious BIG (personal Fav), Snowmageddon, Bliztastic, etc.

This is a huge icicle on the light near our front door, and its filled with snow...inside... from the bottom up?!?

We lost the patio set.....

The plow didn't come thru until about 2 pm, here is a path a guy in a big truck made and you can see the path Angelos snowblowed so the neighbors could get over to our house... their heat went out!
